I am originally from Montgomery County in Pennsylvania, which is about 20 miles northeast of Philadelphia. Growing up, I showed great interest in technology, music, and performance arts. I have experience with theatre and music performance, both on- and back-stage. Additionally, I was involved with my high school’s robotics and A/V clubs. I came to the University of Maryland to study computer science with the dream of working in entertainment, particularly the video game industry. With how much I intended to work in media, I leapt at the opportunity to join the Media Scholars program, as it would provide me the knowledge and skills I need to excel. Since beginning here, I have joined the University’s radio station, WMUC, where I produce my podcast, The Comic Book Book Club. More information about both the station and the podcast can be found on the links page. The lessons taught in the Media program have benefited me in my work at the station. Moving forward, I intend to complete my studies at the University of Maryland while keeping strong ties to the Media Scholars program. I look forward to learning more and expanding my horizons regarding technology and media.
